Accessibility statement.
CSM Web Design Limited wants everyone who visits csmwebdesign.com to be able to use it, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This statement covers this website only; the websites we build for clients each have their own.
What we have done
- The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as far as we are able to.
- Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio, including small text and labels.
- Every page can be navigated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Headings follow a logical order and images carry descriptive alternative text.
- Forms have visible labels, clear error messages and no time limits.
- Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content, and the layout works on screens from 320px wide.
- Animation is minimal and respects the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting.
What may not work perfectly
Some older pages on this site were written before the current design and may have lower contrast or heading structure that is less tidy. We are working through them. Third-party embeds, such as review widgets, are provided by other companies and may not meet the same standard.

Accessibility is part of every site we build, not an extra. If you need a site that meets a specific standard — for a public body, a charity or a regulated industry — say so when you enquire and we will build it in from the start.
