SEO case study

Slamfire Tactical website SEO case study

Specialist service businesses need pages that explain what they do, who they serve and why the work is credible, especially when customers are comparing technical services.

Work recorded in the project history

  • Completed a Month 1 SEO implementation brief focused on moving the site away from narrow Cerakote-only messaging and towards broader commercial coating, sector and service visibility.
  • Published a large SEO content set: 5 sector hubs, 12 service pages, 7 local pages and 5 articles aimed at larger commercial batch-work enquiries.
  • Added SEO best-practice structure including one-H1 checks, meta descriptions where available, schema output and a more consistent layout for the new hubs, service pages, location pages and articles.
  • Kept the homepage safe after feedback by rolling back the homepage commercial section and preserving the accepted original homepage while continuing to improve the new SEO pages.
  • Added a Slamfire-style contact strip/header/nav to the new pages so the expanded SEO content felt more integrated with the existing site design.

Project approach

The work started by looking at the business goal behind the website. A useful website needs to do more than exist online; it has to explain the offer, make the business easier to trust and guide visitors towards the next step.

For this project, the focus was on practical improvements that support enquiries and search visibility. That means clearer page structure, better service context, stronger proof and internal links that help visitors move from interest to action.

CSM’s role was to look at the website as a business asset rather than a design exercise. That includes how customers compare options, what proof they need before enquiring and how the site can keep improving after launch.

Outcome and SEO value

The project created stronger foundations for organic visibility and clearer paths through specialist services and customer enquiries.

For CSM, case studies like this are important because they turn real work into visible evidence. They show the kind of problems CSM solves and give potential customers clearer evidence of the website design, SEO, ecommerce, local SEO, hosting and maintenance work available.

Each case study should also act as a bridge: linking from project proof into relevant commercial service pages and from those service pages back into examples of work.

This is especially useful for local SEO and service SEO because proof pages add experience signals that a generic landing page cannot provide on its own. A service page can explain what CSM offers; a case study shows that the work has been applied to a real business.
